Every part of the page, live.

The real components rendered from the real content. Nothing here is a mock-up. Switch the mode in the header to check each one in light, dark and vibrant.

Trace Health

A lab in every toilet, starting with cortisol and testosterone.

Why we're excited

Your body's chemistry changes every day, and medicine checks it a few times a year. Trace Health is building a passive sensor for the toilet that reads urine every time it's used: no test strips, no apps to remember, no change in behavior.

Chroma

trychroma.comPre-Series A

The retrieval database AI apps reach for first, becoming the context layer for agents.

Why we're excited

When a developer needs a model to find the right information, Chroma is usually what they install first. The open-source database is downloaded more than 15 million times a month and comes built into LangChain and LlamaIndex.

The /portfolio grid, after mpstaton-site's hype machine. The image is the company's own og:image, saved by pnpm fetch-og to public/portfolio/og/; without one (Trace Health) the card shows the mark on a green wash. og_fetch: false in a company's frontmatter turns its image off.

SectionHead basics/SectionHead.astro

Eyebrow

A section heading

An optional lead paragraph, at reading measure, in the muted ink.

Card .card in styles/base.css

A raised card on a light band. Hover to lift.

Investor area

Gated, server-rendered pages under /lp, behind src/middleware.ts andlib/gate.ts. Real memos and updates never render on this public page.

UnlockForm lp/UnlockForm.svelte (Svelte island)

Live: it posts to /api/lp/unlock, which refuses anything but a configured passcode. Works as a plain form before hydration.

The wrong-passcode state.

EmailDoor lp/EmailDoor.svelte (Svelte island)

Use the address the partners have on file for your investment.

Live: it posts to /api/lp/email/start. Every address gets the same "check your email" answer; only a roster address is sent a code. Step two takes the 8-character code. Off unless GATE_EMAIL_DOOR=on.

IdentifyPrompt lp/IdentifyPrompt.svelte (Svelte island)

"Who's reading?" for passcode sessions, when GATE_IDENTIFY is ask orrequire. A modal once after unlock; after "Not now", the corner card on every page; after three closes, the slim bar. Posts to /api/lp/identify, which re-signs the session withwho (grants nothing) and saves the answer to Turso or the log. Shown here withdemo, which never posts.

Executive Summary

2. Market

Why now

Who it serves

3. Team

The memo outline, from tree.data.headings (h2–h3, hidden under 3 entries; selection inlib/markdown/toc.ts). One render, three states by viewport: a sticky rail at 1280px and up, a button that opens an overlay at 768–1279px, and a bar naming the current section on phones.table-of-contents.client.ts tracks the reading position and pins it under the LP bar.

Pages

  • layouts/LpLayout.astro: slim bar, noindex, sign-out
  • pages/lp/unlock.astro: the door, shown at whatever URL was requested
  • pages/lp/index.astro: the hub, memos filtered by the session's scopes
  • pages/lp/memos/[slug].astro: a memo through @lossless-group/lfm + components/markdown/
  • pages/lp/updates/[id].astro: a quarterly letter from content/lp-updates/<id>/narrative.yaml
  • pages/lp/k/[token].astro: a minted link's landing page; opens with a button, so link previews unlock nothing
  • pages/portfolio/index.astro and pages/portfolio/[slug].astro: the public profiles (stage, zinger, hype_note), with the memo button leading into the gate

What we believe

Building the Future of Human Health

Three convictions drive where we invest and how we partner with founders.

  • Tech Bio

Biology Is Becoming an Engineering Discipline

Computation, AI, and programmable biology are converging to change how drugs are built and disease is treated. Teams that treat biology as a design space will define the next era of therapeutics. This is not Biotech. It is Tech Bio.

    • AI-native therapeutics
    • Core Tech Bio infrastructure
  • The Lifespan Project

    Fixing the Incentives

Outcomes follow incentives. The healthcare system rewards treatment over prevention. Founders who re-architect these incentives can reshape entire markets — and extend human healthspan.

    • Prevention-first health systems
    • Lifelong health accounts
  • Consumer Health

    Consumers Should Choose

Wearables and longitudinal data turn health from episodic care into a continuous product surface. When consumers own their data and can act on it, they become the most powerful force in healthcare.

    • Wearables & continuous biosensing
    • Consumer-owned health data
